For first year U19 New York Ski Education Foundation (NYSEF) ski racer Sarah Coombs, it’s all about balance. Sarah has managed to find balance between school, ski racing and friends and family that enables her to enjoy all of these things and thrive.
This past May at the USSA Congress, the Alpine Sport Committee revised last years ski length regulations affecting U19 and older ski racers. For 2017, they adopted new USSA equipment rules that will be more inclusive to all.
Meet Dylan Roussel. He’s a 15 year old Freshman at Rutland High School in Vermont and he’s the feature of our Ski Racer spotlight this month. Dylan races USSA as a U16 for the Pico Ski Club Alpine Race Team and also for the Rutland High School Ski Team.
We’ve reached the time of year when alpine ski racing is wrapping up. As the ski racing season wraps up we too are wrapping up old business and moving on to new. Therefore we are having an end of the season sale. All merchandise that we are not carrying forward to next season is discounted to closeout.
