Arctica All Mountain Pant – the Swiss army knife of ski pants

For years, Arctica has been the go to place for Side Zip Ski Pants. While we offered full side zip ski pants in every color of the rainbow for skiers, snowboarders, and racers, one request we kept hearing over and over was for a coaches pant without a bib, that had padded knees AND full side zips. Now we know why. After doing some research we found that there was no such thing in the market, until now! It starts with the fabric

The Arctica All Mountain pants utilize our durable and comfortable Flex 10 fabric. Flex 10 is a workhorse fabric that we developed several years ago. It has stretch, is waterproof and breathable and is tough as nails. We use this same fabric in our Speedster pant as well as the Viper Jacket, so adopting it into the development of the All Mountain Pant made sense because of it’s strength and comfort. But the exterior of these pants is only half the story. We put as much thought into the lining fabric as we did with the shell. We use our exclusive Duralite to line the entire pant. Duralite is a fine denier nylon that is ultralight and most importantly strong. It glides easily over a race suit or base layers to eliminate the binding and restriction of movement you get with lesser pants. Not only does it work well as a lining, it feels really good.

Padded knees, full side zips, and more

The All Mountain Pant has a modern design that is lightweight enough to train in, but is packed with features. Our All Mountain pant uniquely has full side zips for easy removal with your boots on. The padded knees provide comfort and protection from the cold of the snow and can flex in multiple directions for comfort. Hand warmer pockets are welt covered and have zippers for secure closure plus two external thigh pockets with waterproof zippers keep all your stuff in and moisture out. We articulate the knee so the pant fits naturally to a skier’s stance.

The fit is the modern Arctica racer fit, just enough room to be comfortable but not loose or baggy like others. Nothing lasts quite like the Cordura that we use for the scuff guards and knee covering for superior durability.
