Every Day is Race Day at Peak Ski Shop
Peak Performance Ski Shop is a ski racing specialty retail store in Killington, Vermont. They are located on the Killington Access Road just one mile from the lifts at Killington Resort.
Owners, Fred and Denise Coriell, learned the ins and outs of ski racing from their three sons, who are home grown Vermont ski racers. Fred, David and Scott raced in Vermont since their Hopeful days, and advanced to win medals at States, Jr. Olympics, Eastern Cups, NCAA’s, and All East. David gained All-American status and raced NorAm’s throughout Europe. All three sons continued to race Division 1 at Middlebury College.
In addition to Fred and Denise’s extensive knowledge of ski racing, their staff is made up of skiers and former ski racers. Several staff members have kids that were ski racers or who are currently coming up through the ranks of the local ski racing programs. Over the years, Fred has actively participated in various capacities on the board of directors for Killington Mountain School (KMS), the Killington Ski Club (KSC) and Vermont Alpine Racing Association (VARA). Because of all of this, Fred and the staff at Peak Ski Shop have hands on experience with the race equipment they sell and can offer the most accurate and up-to-date race ski information.
Peak Ski Shop was the first Arctica retailer in the world
Peak Ski Shop has the largest selection of race skis, boots and race gear in Vermont in stock year ’round. They sell all of the top brands in ski racing equipment. We are proud to say, they are the first retailer in the world to carry full side zip pants and race suits from Arctica. In addition to high quality ski racing products from Arctica, Peak Ski Shop offers Volkl, Fischer, Blizzard, Atomic, Nordica, Head, Dynastar, Rossignol, Lange, Tecnica, Dalbello, Spyder, POC, Briko, Uvex and Shred. From November thru mid-April their retail store is open 7 days a week except Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. During the summer months, they are available by appointment or by chance. Their online shop is open all year.
In the summer months, when the store is ‘closed’, Fred and the crew are busy getting young ski racers set up for summer training, checking in new merchandise, and updating their website. Peak Ski Shop spends hundreds of hours making sure they have the most accurate product information for ski racers on their website. They do a fantastic job at presenting that information in a clear, easy to understand manner. Ski racing rules can get confusing. Fred and his staff try to take the guess work out of buying race skis and gear. Their websites peakskishop.com and raceskishop.com are some of the best in the industry. Both offer a wealth of information on race skis and equipment, as well as a host of other valuable resources for ski racers.
Manufacturer’s sponsored race pricing is available every day of the year at Peak Ski Shop
You don’t need to show up for a special event or on a certain day or time to order your race skis and equipment at discounted pricing. Peak Ski Shop offers manufacturer’s sponsored race pricing every day of the year on the current season’s product. Racer Pricing is available in-store, on the phone and on the website. They do have a Race Fit Day on September 25, 2016, but you do not need to go to Race Day to receive the discounted pricing. Race Day at Peak Ski Shop is a fun day to hang out with fellow ski racers, meet the Race Reps, see all of the up coming season’s race gear and try it on. Oh, and possibly win some cool stuff too – each year they give away a pair of race skis of your choice!
