Winning 7 Straight State Championships is a Big Deal on Arctica

In Michigan Division 2 ski racing, the boys from Petoskey High School ski team are a force to be reckoned with. This past week at Boyne Highlands in Harbor Springs, the boys on the Petoskey ski team captured their 7th straight Division 2 State Championship. S-E-V-E-N-T-H. Seventh. That means they have been on top seven years in a row.

For those of you who are not from Michigan, winning Division 2 is not just beating all of the other Division 2 teams. At State Championships in Michigan Division 1 competes by itself and then Division 2, 3 and 4 all compete against each other for the title. That’s a lot f ski racer to compete against!
