I am a first year U16 male athlete from Muskego, Wisconsin. I have been a central division racer since the U8 category and have been very successful throughout all my years. For the past two years I have won the Central division U14 championship and have been a top performer in the U14 Rocky Central Junior Championships. This past year at the U14 Junior Championships I won the Super G, 4th in GS, and a 5th in Slalom. These results awarded me a 6th place overall for the whole championship. My performance also earned me a spot in the National Performance Series. This year my family and I have made the decision to have me race and train in the Rocky division. I will be officially racing out of Winter Park.
I am a very competitive person and would do anything to be better than I was last week. I have loved skiing for the longest I can remember and one thing that can really drive me is the feeling you get when your hard work pays off. Its one thing to be successful, but when you work your butt off week in and week out it feels a whole lot better
My goal for the 2019/20 ski season would be qualifying to U16 Nationals. This has been a goal of mine since last year, missing out only by under 3 tenths of a second. Additionally, I would like to continue improving myself and the people around me. Finally, one life long goal would include making the U.S. Ski Team.
Baseball and motocross. I have always been a multiple sport kid and I think this benefits me greatly. The different sports that I play help me with my main focus of skiing. It keeps me busy year round and also improves my fitness.
