My name is Kennedy Heavrin and I am a two-sport national level athlete. I was born in Colorado and currently reside in Park City, UT. I am currently a first year FIS alpine ski racer as well as a striker for the number one Utah girls U17 team and leader in the Mountain Region. While I have had great success in both sports, I am most proud of being the only 2004 girl from the Western Region to qualify for U16 Nationals three years in a row (upon winning the Western Regional Championships in 2018, I qualified as a second year U14). Additionally, I have been the Intermountain Division points leader multiple times.
Motivation
What drives me to be the best I can be is not wanting to place second in anything because I hate losing more than I love winning.
Goals
My goals are: to make it to the 2021 FIS Nationals at the end of the season, to make the flip in every race, to place on the podium as a first year FIS athlete, and to ski well enough throughout the season to earn a chance at making the US Ski D Team.
Other Interests
I play national level soccer for the Utah Avalanche ECNL while also competing in ski racing for the Park City Ski and Snowboard team. Some of my interests outside of ski racing and soccer include photography, paddle boarding, music, and hanging out with my friends, family, and dogs.
