It’s never too late to ski race! As a child, my dream was to be an Olympic Downhill skier like Picabo Street, but it wasn’t in the cards for me. But at age 31, I’ve reconnected with the sport and found a community this year in Far West Masters. During the week, I work for a nonprofit called Girls Leading Girls, training girls in leadership and advocacy through soccer, and by the weekend, I’m tearing up the slopes! Skiing has helped me regain confidence in myself and helped me to love me again.
