Hi, my name is Josh Rosenberg. I am an alpine ski racer attending Okemo Mountain School in Ludlow VT and I love to ski race!
Recent results:
-Over all U14 VT States Champion
-Over all U14 Eastern Champion
-Invited to participate in U16 Nationals as a U14 in Breckenridge Colorado
-Invited to US Ski Team Development camp in MT Hood Oregon.
-Scored 90 points in my first USSA Point Race.
Motivation
I am motivated by people who are better than me. I look up to superior athletes as they push me to improve and work hard. I am also motivated by my own desire to win. My goal is to win, which drives me to practice hard and improve.
Goals
My long term goals for alpine ski racing are to make it to the US Ski team within the next 3 or 4 years and race on the World Cup. My goal for the 19/20 season is to have my USSA points below 60.
Other Interests
I am also a competitive tennis player. I want to keep both of my sports going for as long as possible until I have to choose, I really believe in doing multiple sports as I think it helps you develop as an overall athlete. I am also a good student and I am as committed to learning in the classroom as I am to learning on the slopes.
