Hi my name is Élissa (she/her)!
I’m originally from Mont-Tremblant, Québec, the unceded and traditional territories of the Omàmiwininiwag and Anishinabewaki nations.
I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Physical and Health Education at Université Laval in Québec City, where I currently live. I am also currently finishing my Master’s degree in Education at Thompson Rivers University. My research project is about girl’s participation in sports.
Skiing is what I live for. I currently work in a sport-study school where I coach the U16 regional ski team. I completed my CSIA Level 3 and Alpine Canada development level, I am planning on doing my level 4 and my performance level in the following years!
I speak 3 languages, French is my mother tongue, followed by English and Spanish.
When I am not studying, you will find me skiing, mountain biking, hiking, running. To put it in a nutshell, you will find me playing outside!
Motivation
Being a better person for my athletes everyday is what drives me. I want to be the best so they can benefit from it.
Goals
My goal is to share my skiing passion to the following generations and make them the best skiers they can be by sharing my tools with them.
Other Interests
Outside of skiing, I love studying, touring, mountain biking, hiking and running.
